Blogging...again

Okay...I am a LOSER who never blogs, but all of that is about to change! I promise. Well I promise to try anyway. That's a start, right? It's a new year (although I vaguely remember making this promise last year) a time for new beginnings and all of that good stuff. I have so much to blog it is hard to know where to start. Maybe I start at the beginning, maybe I start at the end...who knows, but for now I will leave you with the promise to blog! And since promises are better with pictures here is a picture ;)
This is my brother and my soon to be sister-in-law's save the dates that I designed for them.
Aren't those two cute?

Baptism 2009

Our church had it's annual baptism, and I heard that something like 550 people got baptized! And my little Elijah was one of them. He is young, but it was really important to him...plus he has been begging us for the past year (since the last baptism). He was beyond excited and I was so happy for him. Here are a couple of pictures from that gorgeous day!

My Little Man

My Little Man just celebrated his 6th birthday! He had so much fun! And now that he is 6 he says he can run faster, jump higher, he is stronger, he can do a perfect cartwheel, and he loves me even more because his heart is bigger! My boys birthdays are so hard for me. Don't get me wrong I LOVE watching them grow and experience new things, but it just means they are getting closer and closer to being an adult and they are needing me less and less. In my head every time they have a birthday I have them married off and living in some other country! I know it is a far way off, but they are just getting soooooo big. Okay I'm done crying :( Now on to the festivities! Eric and I decorated the living room to surprise him when he woke up...he loved it! Then we had a family BBQ which was super fun, and later in the week I took him and a couple of his friends to the movies (by myself ...that's right I'm crazy), then swimming. Super Fun! Here are a couple of pics from the birthday week, and a portrait of
My Little Guy
who I know someday is going to turn the world upside down
(and has already turned this house upside down)!

Uncle Carlos

Every family has a super cool uncle who's not really an uncle but a surrogate member of your family. For my kids they have a few, but one of the favorites is Uncle Carlos!! He has known them since they were born. He rollerblades and throws skate competitions, he builds electric skateboards, and most importantly he lets them get away with stuff that normally is not allowed. I mean come on you can't get much cooler then that. Here are some pics of the turkey's with Uncle Carlos.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth

Finally Elijah lost some teeth ...this has been a long time coming. He is going to be turning 7 and has been anticipating this for so long...he was expecting pain and was greatly relieved to find that it didn't hurt at all. Here is my baby minus his 2 bottom teeth.

Baseball and haircuts

Okay so I am a bad, bad blogger...I know it has been a while, and I am so sorry. It won't happen again (ok maybe it will). My life has been consumed with all of the end of the school year beginning of summer things. Slide shows, baseball, end of the year parties, haircuts and tons of other things not worth mentioning. So I am back from my hiatus. Baseball (or tee ball rather) is in full swing and super adorable! One of my little turkeys got a haircut...I guess it was a little overdue...boo hoo. He is still the cutest 4 year old I know!

The Circus

We went to the circus (the kids first time) and had so much fun together! The boys loved it, and we loved watching their faces light up. I am so lucky to be their mom. I have the best family ever! Here are some of the pictures from our fun day...
Elijah was practicing his feather balancing skills.Mikiah was just in it for the food.

Guitars & Skateboards

My boys were playing music out in the back yard so of course I had to get out my camera, and of course they said awwwww mom, but they are so cute I just could not resist. Here are a couple of the shots.
